Have not seen the movie. Have not read the book. Great series. Definitely brings out some emotions. Should be watched. Its an adventure through life for two people from different backgrounds who are star crossed and can't quite seem to get together. I read some of the comments at the 1 star level and can't figure it. Guess some people just want to criticize everything. Well, entitled to their opinion, but, in my books, definitely worth watching. Light, entertaining and tugs at the emotions.
