Reading the reviews is an eye opening experience. Even 4 years later there are people who don't believe anything negative about Trump. Much of the acting was superb in this series. The insanity of those weeks leading up to and immediately following the "election" has largely been forgotten after the insanity of the way the Trumpers have mismanaged the Covid crisis. The series gave me a reasonable explanation on why Comey made the decisions he made that so greatly impacted the election. In his mind, his actions was the lesser evil. He went full Kantian when we all might have been better served by a more utilitarian solution. Either way, he and the other influencers on the election pushed politics in America right off the cliff. The Republican party may never recover its soul.
