This movie is pretty good in terms of animation and how lifelike the characters all feel and move. You can tell each movement is catered toward a specific character and they all have their unique quirks. As a aspiring animator, it really pushes me to achieve my goal to become better. On the other hand, I feel like although the characters are unique and memorable, I feel like they lose out on some development and take a backseat to the plot at some points. Some of the things the characters do don't have any buildup necessarily, they just happen(think of it like how you get from point A to point B without actually taking the path to travel between them). The pacing isn't the best sometimes id say, but whether it's the characters or the worldbuilding I feel like it does certainly keep you interested. I'm not movie critic, just wanted to put my thoughts down since I decided to watch this movie recently. (p.s. might be a little bit of a hot take but I thought that Milo and Audrey would've been a more interesting relationship than him and Kida)
