Great kids and adventures. However, Amber is jealous of Anna and controlling of Liz and Jonah. She is so degrading towards Anna and all she and Trent talk about is their sex life-so hypocritical. Any accomplishment of Anna's she dismisses. She continues to coddle Alex and allows him to act like a spoiled brat. She dismisses Emma's feelings and shyness and expects Emma to wake Jonah up for work. Trent at least tries to validate his daughters at times. Her kids are great, but Amber needs to remember her own past and leave the poor girls alone and maybe focus on the fact she's enabling Alex and takes no accountability for how awfully she treats Anna especially. Horrible example of favoritism, parenting, and really just respecting other women. She needs canceled. If she and Alex weren't on the show, I'd give it 5 stars, because the rest of the family is a lot of fun and goodhearted.

I just started season 1 after watching Outer Banks and a comedy sketch of "Just Stick With It." Bored out of my mind. So far in first season only have seen some money and cirrhosis talk. After being on the edge of my seat every second during Outer Banks, it is basically watching middle aged people eat dinner, deal with kids, and money launder. I am hoping it builds. I loved Schitts Creek and other hidden gems, but after so much hype can someone tell me when this gets good?
