It's still unbelievable that Nas still makes albums that young and old folks can listen to and, at the same time, still stand the test of time; especially in an era when rap has really changed.
With all honesty, I am not disappointed with Magic 3. The production by Hitboy is the icing on the cake; the lyrical content by Nas will make you keep eating that cake that's why the album has been on repeat for days now.
It's just on point when Nas asked Hit Boy on the TSK track 'what time is it Hit?' and Hitboy replied: 'it's your time, bro.' The tracks: based on true events part 1 and 2 gave me the feeling of second childhood, I gave you power, fetus, NY state of mind, serous interlude, etc....Poetry is easy for Nas.
Nas still kicked Knowledge with the track: speechless part 2. Uplifting people and making you utilise your faculty. Nas didn't change but he got better.
The track 'Never die' featuring Lil' Wayne when Nas said: why did I wait this long to let y'all in my ill mind?' I think we've always been in his ill mind. Tunechi actually did justice to this track.
We deserve more albums from Nas. We can not afford to get tired of rap anymore.
