I'm writing this review just after I finished episode 8. The reason being the certitude that it is not going to be a disappointment. This drama had multiple details minutely crafted which catched my eye. Let's start with the characters first. The fmc and mmc had coinciding core yet a contrast in their overall psyche. The fmc and mmc awfully mirrored each other in their extreme aspiration to be at the top. While we see the fmc had a very unhealthy obsession with studies and had almost refrained herself from any sort of recreation just so she could utilise that time for her studies, courtesies to the good script we also see the healthy relationship a person could have with their studies without having to miss out stuffs that is meant for us and without being bitter as a consequence to the utter exhaustion via the mmc. I'm pretty sure we've all witnessed many movies or books where we are portrayed the 'Oh so motivating!' journey of a person towards their respective goal, but that's it, the curtains are dropped there and we subconsciously assumes their life to be a placid ride. 'Doctor slump' decides to not draw the curtains as of yet. As the name suggests, it's the story of 2 doctors whose life had slumped. The 2 doctors who are struggling to cope up with their livelihood and are always contemplating where did they go wrong after all those hardwork, sacrifices, all nighters for them to deserve this misery. The course of events is such that their paths are crossed, the very two people who were at each other's throat and had the lowest regards for each other are now starting to realise that their rivals have pretty much nice traits. This show also portrays how the non intentional expectations of our loved ones can at some point of life suffocate us. The most contemporary issues of this generation ie. PTSD and depression are also taken into account and in a very light fashion so it doesn't turn the show lamenting and how it could be helped only if we will to take help initially itself. Trying not spoiling but I really loved the part where the two MCs are talking out their thoughts and clearing out all the bad airs without being dramatic over it. It's still a lot to go so I'm going to leave it up here. But to anyone reading, if you're mature enough to understand the laws of nature and are looking for a realistic and practical watch, this is for you.
