If you are a new reader and want to sit back and read a short book then this book is or you. But on the other hand if you an avid reader who likes a participant genre... this book might not work out for you. This book is a beautiful mix of myth and reality, childhood and adulthood, and present and past. I gave it 3 stars because for me it is a good effort by a new author, but it does not satisfy my book pallette. Also this is book 1 in what I imagine will extend as a series.
