It's a great and a painful movie. Melinda was captured or blinded by love from first. I on my side would say Bent was not serious, he knew the type of a girl Melinda was and he knew that if he play innocent and be a gentleman she will fall for it. What kind of a man pleasures a lady on her mother funeral? Anyway Melinda was under trauma from the day she lost her mother and since her sister could not give her so much, (remember we didn't hear anything about her father) so the poor girl might or could have been thirsty for her father's love and Bent was at the right place and in a right time. Bent took advantage of Melinda because he knew she would do anything for him. Bent was supposed to fight for his love one when his life was on track, Melinda had been fighting for him for many years, waiting, trusting and believing in him. He was supposed to beg her for her trust again. Melinda was depressed so both her sister took advantage because to them he was fit for her. This movie shows people who are selfish and greedy and who don't care about other people's emotions and that is Bent. How could you marry someone you were once caught with years back by your girlfriend? Tell me. How ? I wanted to eat Bent with my bare hands when I watched his actions. There are many women and men who are victims just like Melinda. Sometimes our families can never give good advice maybe cause her sister's were against her happiness and belief. Mhhhhhhh what a pity.
