Craig McQueen – Google

This is my new favourite series and the best thing is that there are so many episodes yet to watch, i am only up to episode 40+ on the first season. Visually this series is the best treat. My mum is as big a fan as I am and she loves the attention to detail with the costumes and clothes. Everything is so well done, the characters are as if they stepped out of a tale of 1001 Arabian Nights. The outrageous Templars, the Palace intrigue and the honesty of the Tribe is revealed in such an entertaining way as to surpass any other recent television series i know of.This is a romance story and a historical real depiction of true events that might seem unbelievable to us today. I love the voices and emotional intensity of each unique person and I hope never to hear or see a dubbed version. It is worth the subtitles to hear those magnificent voices and that beautiful language. As a 'westerner' I am addicted to this series and am loving being on the side of the Muslim tribe that is destined for greatness. Thanks to all involved.

Thank you Uetred! This series is one of three i religiously follow along with Peaky Blinders and Babylon Berlin, It is the characters not the time period that makes this story so easy to be immersed in. Uetred is a complex Dark Age character living in complex times and the depth of those details are compelling and addictive to explore. Just a great adventure to have from the lounge.Don't compare this show to other 'viking' related movies this is it's own story.

A Guy Ritchie movie is always a treat and this was top class especially the lightning fast dialogue and rapidly unfolding twisting plot. Lots of laughs and tension at the right moments I thought this was a comedy overall with those deadly serious moments thrown in to remind us that this is a story that may be true to some degree. Great to see Mathew Mconaghy in a role he filled completely as the alpha drug dealer while Colin Farrel deserves an Oscar for his hardcore comedic character 'the coach'. I checked this review before I went and with 89% audience approval I guessed the movie would be really good,and it was.

I gave this epic 5 stars because I was drawn into the Castlevania world so completely plus the epic vampire fights and killings are fantastic scenes that glorify the Dracula cult of pop culture. I like the combination of new characters created here like Neville the last of the Belmonts is so full of cliches he is actually refreshingly cynical. The themes of magic, science, religion and superstition.follow a plot of diabolical revenge against the sins of humanity. This reminded me of the adventures I had role playing in Dungeons and Dragons games with a group of diversely skilled characters up against the odds. Lot's of action and ironic laughs with.a storyline that does not rely on the usual strange anime sexualisation of characters. Thanks!.

I had not seen the t.v show or read the books but I took my mum to this movie and we and the audience were very entertained. This is about the 1920's feel and classic 'golden age' movie genre that some of us can appreciate. In a world that takes itself seriously this is a small reprieve from the real world. Well done to everyone involved I hope to see more Australian movies like this without the blockbuster attitude.

Right from the start this was a full scale war action movie with epic imagery of gigantic naval ships, aircraft carriers, destroyers etc all going at it full tilt. I thought the pace was very good moving on quickly from one historic battle to the next while letting us have an inside view into the thinking of both sides of the conflict. Great acting from a bunch of unknowns but by the end of the movie you knew all their characters for who they were honouring those who served and sacrificed. Awesome visuals!
