I thought this was a powerful, painful and good movie. Sadly, the date of the original is incorrect. It aired before I graduated high school in 1968 and I am pretty certain that I was in 8th or 9th grade when that happened!! Was attempting to FIND the original airing date when I ran across this misinformation.
