Extraordinary creativity, beautiful graphics, and a unique atmosphere that really sucks you in to the game as if you were there. The story line of this game is touching, and gently explores a subject that is not often brought to light. They didn't just stop at it being a lovely story to walk through. They packed this game full of life and interactive greatness. Excellent puzzles and extra little content that adds to replay value and mystery, as well. This game has come a long way, and the creators really put a lot of love in to it - which shows. They ironed out little glitches and crashes for what is ultimately an impressive, fantastic adventure and a phenomenal story line with an interesting twist. Although I've come to know White Paper games as being suspiciously under-tested upon release, they don't just drop a game and forget about it. They continue to grow the game and nurture it to its full potential, like it's their child. They fit this unique "Mystery" game niche that somehow feels like adventurous survival horror, but maintains an underlying comfort while also serving up deliciously gorgeous worlds to explore. Fully 5 star game.

It's an interesting story and really cool "Shining" atmosphere but overall comes up super short. No puzzles, inventory items have no use, and no way to save between "Days". There is also a poorly done false sense of "Choose your own adventure" which adds to the feeling of the game being half baked and not true to itself. No matter what you choose, everything is the same. I want to like this game for the simple story it is and having good atmosphere, but to top it off - I can't even finish the ending without it crashing which has been at least 5 times now lol. Even had to restart entirely twice because it loaded me in to part of the game I had already done and I couldn't progress the story. *ALSO - not to leave out that they just breeze over what comes off as heavy sympathy for pedophiles as a story theme and an awkward anti-choice anti-abortion political jab right in the beginning (the latter of which might actually add to the story overall but it just came off as a gross opinion by creators instead)* This could have been a great game, it just lacks a LOT. The content that IS there feels forced and is noticeably unnecessary to the story. Atmosphere was not enough on its own to carry a simple walk-about game ( see: Everybody's Gone to the Rapture for 5 star atmosphere/graphics low-content game). In the end, it's only redeeming quality seems to be that when you hover over some items, it gives the character's thoughts on the item instead of the listing what the actual item is.
