I just watched Flipped on Netflix and I am so surprised it has such lukewarm reviews. This show is great with a heartwarming storyline and i think the director did a great job at telling the story, helping audience realise there are always two sides to a story. Not a boring moment and great choice with the actor and actress. The boy has the right look, a little awkward, shy but charming. And the actress, young as she is, was able to depict the spirit of a feisty young girl who is not afraid to show her true feelings. The show brought warmth to my heart and brought out many aspects of life worth pondering about, not just puppy love between a boy and a girl but family ties and the struggles in doing what is right. The show brought a smile to my face with a great and meaningful ending. Love it. Definitely enjoyed it. Box office wise, it should really have done so much better. I guess most people still prefer zombies and action heroes to good old fashioned movies like these.
