Firstly I must strongly refute the negative comment by the above critic - NT I think. Anyway, I have just turned 60 but left this movie with a huge childlike grin on my face, saying to my wife, "Now I just can't wait to see it again!". I thought all the actors did a fine job - especially Li-Manuel Miranda, who played Jack. He was utterly delightful, a real revelation. As for Emily Blunt as Mary Poppins, she was indeed "practically perfect in every way!". In addition it was lovely to see Dick Van Dyke doing his thing again, and the uber talented Ben Wishaw played his Michael perfectly. DO NOT MISS THIS LOVELY MOVIE! 12/10!

Well I for one enjoyed it. The visuals were fine and despite what some critics have said the actors couldn't really have been expected to do loads of real swimming. It was a perfectly fun movie. One thing though. I didn't understand how Aquaman suddenly changed into his comics-style green and gold costume after he won the magic strident. Also, I think the film was a bit too long.

Really liked this genre mashing movie. Fearsomely gruesome in places. Great acting, and I felt much empathy with the characters. Easily 4/5.

Confusing. Very confusing. I watched it in 3D and it was visually mesmerising, really beautiful- and certainly well worth seeing, if just for the special effects alone. Nevertheless I look forward to seeing it again in the future, but at home, with SUBTITLES which will hopefully key me in to it all, with greater understanding. 7/10 maybe ?
