Don't let the antisemitism of this film dissuade you from watching a truly historically film. Yes its manipulative propoganda,all films during this era were when made by war departments,however it's very honest about how the national socialists felt about Jews and gives a good inkling as to how Deutschland planned on dealing with the 'Jewish question" Highly recommend 👍

Complete waste of time. Also utterly predictable and rather dumb. Nick Robinson the lead actor is likable enough but,the script never once let's the audience know they are watching a 'gay' I gotta secret film.I didn't give a dam about that there's no plot of interest here. An after school special type movie that's all about woke agenda politics 🤮

This is a truly great movie. Sam Mendes deserves all the praise he got for this fantastic and emotional yet,unsentimental film about 2 British privates on an important mission towards the end of WW1 in france. This film made me feel like I was watching WW1 for real,and I was so astonished at the young actors who portray the 2 privates on a life or death journey- which is exactly what war is. I want to note how tremendous the music score is for this film,it fit perfectly with what the story was. There are many quiet moments in this movie and it stays with you,very powerful yet,oddly beautiful. 10/10

Cast isn't that good and the writing and dialogue kinda juvenile feels like a made for tvmovie instead of a cinematic film. Far too many characters float in and out of screen only to have no "impact" in the movie. Tea leoni can't carry a movie and was horribly miscast. Very boring especially at the beginning,to much political gibberish at the start characters are of the cardboard cutout nature ultimately I didn't give sh** about anything going on and found myself rooting for the astroid.lol C-

A truly great movie with an uplifting story was very realistic in its depiction of coal mining life. Jake Gyllenhaal is perfect in his portrayal of Homer Hickam a west Virginia teen who turns his dream of building a rocket into a career at NASA. An absolute must see.
