Not having read most of the books, I can review this without the expectations that come when you read something before you see a visual presentation. I love this, the recurring themes (the detective's flashbacks, the murder of two native teens and the history of native abuse). But each episode is a well-done mystery with great music, fabulous scenery and super acting. I hope it is renewed.

Not surprisingly there are lots of people here who don't get it. Some have said that the women sold themselves but why do they assume that these women all gave in when most of them didn't. You don't have to have sex with someone to be sexually harassed. That's the point. So catch a clue there guys.if there had been no non-disclosure agreement between Gretchen Carlson and fox we would have more details any more dynamic movie. of course some of the commentators here simply don't like that fox was picked on rather than Matt Lauer or other outlets. But I think that the sexual harassment was more common at Fox. Whereas Matt Lauer's probably an outlier at MSNBC. The actress who played Megyn Kelly looked exactly like her and did a fantastic job. All the performances were really good. I only wish it included more about Bill O'Reilly. But again non-disclosure agreements prevent those details from coming out. And I feel sure they would be shocking. everyone should be shocked and the fact that some people aren't is part of the problem. Women need to make a living too and they shouldn't be harassed in order to do that.Gretchen Carlson is really the hero of the story that we don't see enough of her in the film.
