Sincerely C-. Don’t get me wrong, I loved the book. I feel the book was a great romantic book, I love the relationship Tessa and Harden had in the book. In the movie though it just seem kind of rushed. I know it’s hard to get a whole book into an hour movie but it just wasn’t the same. Harden wasn't as mean or rude as he was in the book which was one of the things that made Harden, Harden. they weren’t as on and off and if you didn’t read the book I had no idea what After was if you went and saw the movie you’d be so confused. The acting was amazing and I think the casting was perfect, i’m just upset that it seemed kind of rushed. The plot twist was a pretty good part of the movie I really enjoyed that aspect, but the ending was kind of disappointing. Overall I really liked the actors and the plot twist but I really hated the whole concept of how the movie was made and how it was portrayed. I know sometimes it’s not the authors fault but due to production and all that they have to kind of put the movie in a different type of way, but the book was so so good and I don’t read books just because I can never find a book that has ever interested me ever and after was one of the books that kept me reading the whole book through I never skip one page (and that’s something I usually do). The movie could’ve been so much better if you just added 10 or 20 minutes it could’ve been something greater.
