Men revving up bikes, smoking, drinking, saying stupid stuff…a total waste of time…other than the lead actress who deserved a better movie, it was a bust…it’s no Easy Rider!

Makes no sense at all...one star is way too generous

Contrived, boring, slow, pointless, painful to watch…the acting is amateurish…a total waste of time…totally unrealistic…the New Zealand landscape great. I can’t imagine that this movie made any money!

I'm a history buff and have read much about Midway, the sea battle that changed the course of the war for America - I loved the movie and its accurate depiction of the battle scenes and the course of the events that led to the American victory. I appreciated the scope of the movie as well - from the Battle of the Coral to the Doolittle bombing of Tokyo and finally to the Battle of Midway! I seem to agree with 94% of the audience which loved it. I notice that the critics who gave Midway a failing grade gave the latest Terminator movie an honors rating but the movie is bombing! Surprise, surprise!

I think it's quite phoney...the dialogue is ridiculous...the pacing is so drawn out and melodramatic and oh so borinnnnnnng! One gets so weary of hearing the f word and the unnecessary graphic sex scenes. It's like a soap opera with drunk angry pirates...overall it's so phoney! I can't understand all the hype...can't wait till my wife is done watching.
