Riccardo Palazzo-Giorgio

I cannot find any redeeming qualities in this film. It is perplexing to me that so many viewers gave it such high ratings. It is amateurish at best and vulgar at its worst. I imagine a group of childish high school boys sitting in a production room hashing out the plot and script. Where have the arts gone? Has this become a standard against which other work will be judged? Pitiful!

After reading most of the reviews, I asked myself if I watched the same program that the rest of these reviewers watched. I found the whole thing to be amateurish. I have been to high school plays that were better produced and directed. I don't know why Celine was chosen as Annie. Her performance was poor and her singing off-key and very pitchy. Hansen's performance was a train wreck, I couldn't understand what she was saying because of her overly animated expression. She was so spastic that I cringed. Harry Connick Jr was pitiful in his portrayal as Warbucks. I did not make it through to the end. It was just bad.
