Despite how funny it was, the story plot was too worrisome, fearful, and saddening. Some scenes closer to the end were a little bit off such as the middle finger scene in the parking lot, waking people up in the middle of the night, and faking the pushy attitude of business when Michael (Adam Sandler) was really preparing to spend time with his family.
The whole fast-forwarding to the future should have only been a temporary nightmare in Michael's slumber, or, better yet, not include the future scenes at all and have Michael learn his lesson differently.
Especially because this is a comedy film, those future scenes, especially the saddest scenes should have been entirely dropped out.
And, in reality, the jobs we work would be happy, honoured, in fact to let workers spend time with family, friends, and loved ones - especially if you were the boss, where you would be in control of your schedule.
While I agree this film is a good lesson about why spending time with others is more important than promotion in business, it is a poor comedy film. I personally don't recommend this film to anyone, especially those in business or formal occupations, even if you watched it with your friends, family, or any other people of yours.
You're at risk of entering fear, sadness, and possibly depression from watching this film. It should be avoided under all circumstances.
