I'm rather surprised this drama doesn't have any reviews. i thoroughly enjoyed the first series. Molly and Captain James have something special. They're possibly my most favourite couple in tv/drama history. Although they're so strikingly different from each other, they're the perfect example of how opposites attract. I loved Molly's character. Her cheekiness as well as her feistiness. I loved how deeply she felt. How she followed her heart and stood up for what she believed in, no matter the consequences. How she'd risk it all for those she cared about. She's the definition of a strong and independnant female lead. And Captain James, being the level-headed, gorgeous gentleman he is. Their chemistry was beautiful. I wanted more. I NEEDED more. Series two was alright. I was sad that Moly left and it didn't go on to following the same characters. Georgie was likeable enough. Maybe too beautiful and perfect in my opinion. I've always liked my characters flawed and a little broken. They're the type easiest to connect with. That being said, Georgie was equally as strong. Also, Georgie and Elvis! They have a very interesting and complex relationship. The angst is real on this one. I like them together. Mostly because i tend to have a soft spot for characters like Elvis. Tough on the outside - a big softie within. I couldn't bring myself to continue onto season three after coming across several spoilers...regarding a certain beloved character of mine....yeah...i don't want to put my heart through that kind of emotional trauma, thanks. Anyway, for those that are debating whether or not they should watch this series. Imma tell you now. Watch this series. It deserves way more love and recognistion than it gets. You will not regret it. Promise :)

Definitely prefer the drama. The story-line is too rushes in this one, which is understandable because it's a movie; they have to fit the entire plot into an hour and a half of screen time - however a lot is left unexplained and the overall story would be confusing for those who aren't familiar with the novel or the drama series. I liked the female protagonist from this movie version but felt like something was lacking from the male love interest. Yang Yang, who played the love interest in the drama, fulfilled this role perfectly in my opinion. The perfect blend of sexy and cold, but also very loving Other than that, the production team did a decent job overall.
