Strong characters, strong characterisations, excellent acting, beautifully filmed, movingly directed, powerful story, spellbinding moments, inevitable but crushingly sad conclusion. Oh, and very long! A great movie all round. The only reason I do not give it the full five is because it is not an epic. Highly recommend for anybody - take tissues and condoms!
