And the movie has rightly given him that importance showing us his past in the start of movie instead of the hero's, like other movies. And it holds him high right until the very end. After years of delivering remade hits, director Mohan Raja decides to do an original movie and puts out this absolute beauty.

Just when you think there is no room for creative themes, a movie like jiiva comes. Superb movie, takes a relatively lesser known and even possibly confusing concept and still manages to convincingly execute it. Certainly worth watching.
