Entertaining for kids and adults alike. Very interesting to see the “burtonesque” touches for those who have appreciated his previous works! Michael Keaton, who played Beetlejuice in a former flick, is a favorite of Burton and makes a great villain. The surrealistic Coney Island setting, typical Burton, makes a great, eerie backdrop for the last portion of this imaginative story. Kids will sympathize with Dumbo’s child friends while the adults can appreciate the humor.

Not your typical Eastwood, very little violence but lots of poignancy and a great message. Despite the lack of violence, it had great suspense and kept me wondering right up to the end. Unexpected ending but very fitting and follows with its subtext of flowers.
