Originally after first watching the Irishman it felt slow with an increasingly long screen time. Yet after watching it a second time, you truly understand how Scorsese has created a movie that in my opinion is on par with Goodfellas. The casting of denero, Pacino and Pesci are all excellent providing some of there best acting in recent years.
