There's something that fills u up when u hear Elton John sing the circle of life in the beginning of the movie, that doesnt fill u in the remake. Dont get me wrong the realistic animals walked into the real world for me and it left me thinking I was on safari, but Sir Elton John was missed. Besides from timon and pumba the lions were expressionless. I did not fear scar as I did in the first movie. I sat there mouthing the original dialogue while getting ad libs and new songs. Instead of making scar look like the old tattered rug on the floor maybe they should have made him skinnier with the dark main we r use to. And what's up with the serious hyenas? Really though, shanzi was so serious, too dark. There was no life. And the other two, come on you guys are comedians make it funny. Anyway, good effort all the round but I'm sticking to the cartoon version.
