Such a let down. This movie strayed far away from what I loved about the first Conjuring movie. The plot was scattered, you didn’t feel a connection with any of the characters in the story, zero scares, and then the woman behind it all was the most lackluster character. Such a disappointment—I really wish (as I’m sure many of us do) that James Wan was the sole director on this movie to really bring back the well-loved dark whimsy of the Conjuring series.
