This movie was surprisingly excellent. Benedict Cumberbatch’s preformance as The Grinch is good, though he could have been a little meaner. The animation in this movie could have been the best looking animated movie ever, everything looked stunning, from the mountains, to the individual hairs on The Who’s. I’ll admit I was very hesitant when I first heard the idea of a new animated Grinch movie because we already had an animated story and a movie, so I didn’t think there was much of a reason for a new movie. But wow this movie blew me away, I put this movie on par with the 1966 TV special and miles better than the 2000 Jim Carey Grinch (which I also loved. A must watch for any Grinch fan!
