Salimah Jackson

One of the best books I have ever read.

I recently read this book and while it is a page turner, it takes some very true events about a Mother who abused her children to death and stuffed them into her freezer in Detroit a few years ago. The story is parallel to that real life horror although the author fails to mention that it’s based around a true story. Some of the shocking details are the same from the case. I remember when it first happened so while reading the book I found it oddly similar and looked it up to see others believed the same thing. I think the author should be upfront about using that case for her storyline. Other than that, I liked how the story was told from the bestfriends point of view. Definitely an emotional and traumatic piece.
