Dreadful - want to know more? Uses a pastiche of hackneyed imagery stolen from Star Wars, Lord of the Rings etc as an alternative to doing something new. At least it doesn't take any ideas from Asimov's original trilogy !! No rather it decides to use a load of hack screen 'writers' to create something truly disappointing using a few phrases from the books to presumably allow them to use the title. Pour on top the by now obligatory over-cooked sauce of crass wokeyism and yey we have another great piece of science fiction diluted down and free of any intellectual challenge. Truly truly terrible. I wonder if the LOR trilogy is the only book series to be filmed relatively well - you know actually telling the story that was the author's creation? Anyone got any ideas?
