This game really sucks you in with the atmosphere and the survival mechanics. It's beautiful to just gaze past the giant blades of grass to see an enormous tree or rake. The game encourages you to explore, harvest and craft unique gear. The enemies are to be feared to make you feel tiny and vulnerable...but contrary to what a bunch of people are saying, you can get past them or even kill them if you learn the game's meta. Base building is fun and it makes you want to craft every available structure or piece of decor. I have not tried multiplayer, but I don't intend to after launch anyway because it's a great solo experience. If you are severally arachnophobic, you can still play the game because there is a setting in the accessibility tab that will censor the spiders. Overall, this is a promising title.
