I understood it was ad libbed from the interview on the One Show, but ep 1 was so slow and hasn’t reached the main story by the end. A bold move, but May lose viewers before ep 2. The cinematography, particularly in the opening, was fantastic. Some stronger post production editing was needed. I love to be challenged by drama but disappointed with episode 1. Perhaps I’m too blinkered by the high quality Yorkshire dramas of recent years, but I will persist with episode 2.
