This is unmissable series for me, if only to remind me what I want but cannot afford. I live in Scotland and house prices particularly in England utterly astound me, but some homes are beautiful. I so enjoy the excellent presenters, sadly the deceased member too who was terrific, Rest his Soul Johnnie Irwin always a pleasure to watch.

George C Scott is superb, and so believable as Ebeneezer Scrooge. Everyone played their parts so well in this, now my favourite version. I am a huge Dickens fan. Loved it, and will never tire of seeing it again!
