I honestly didn’t like the movie as much when I saw it. But I just recently watched it again and I began to see what they had in mind when they got together to make the script. I have been making movies for a while so I know what it is like to make a plot for a movie. First they wanted to show how much their kids have grown since their first movie. Then it movies on to them finding out that there are more Blue Macaws then just them. So they want to find them and also help Linda and Tulio find them at the same time. But then later Jewel finds her family which she had lost years ago. Then later to find out there are some weird dudes running around the forest cutting down trees illegally and getting to close to their territory. And the thing with Blu and Roberto is kind of a background thing. Blu thinks if he doesn’t try hard enough Jewel’s heart could switch to Roberto and he is trying hard to make sure that happens. But he doesn’t know that Jewel will love him no matter the cost. I gave this movie a 5 out of ten when I first saw it but now I think it deserves an 8 out of then.
