I had not read the novel so the storyline was all new to me.
Thoroughly enjoyed the movie and the outcomes were well concealed and unpredictable. Great Aussie movie!

Story line maintains the spirit of the original Fisherman's Friends.
The songs viz sea shanties are abundant ...
Overall I found it a very moving film .. and rekindled the urge to revisit Port Isaac for another Friday evening in summer listening to the Fishermans Friends perform.
