This movie is slow to the point of rediculousness. The first hour and 20 mins could have been told in 15 mins, it tries to build suspense but failed miserably by just being slow. This movie did not need to be made, it achieves nothing, completely forgettable. I will never get those 2hrs of my life back.

1917 was ‘Alright’ that’s about it. Dull for the most part. I judge how good a movie is by “would I watch it again?” and I this case I wouldn’t. The critics say it’s a cinematic triumph that brings the horrors of WW1 to the screen. No, it’s slow and dull and by today’s standards, tame.

I’ve been a Star Trek fan for 50yrs but as with ‘Discovery’ before, ‘Strange New Worlds’ has become a vessel for Woke propaganda. All white heterosexual men (not that there are many at all) are bad, Captain Pike is a weak irrelevant version of his self, the universe is run by woman and every episode revolves around feelings and inclusiveness. Surely there is enough of that on TV already and Star Trek can be left to do what it’s been successfully doing since the 60’s and allow an new generation to enjoy it for what it is instead of force feeding them woke bull**it.
