I started reading novels of Colleen Hoover this year, one of which made me really cry: REMINDERS OF HIM.
I have ignored Verity several times because the book cover is not catchy and looks boring to me. But when I started reading, it pretty gave me a lot of thinking to do. It's a good read although there are so many questions. Like:
Can you fake Brain Scans? (I thought Verity, being rich and famous can actually pay the doctor to do that but it's hard to imagine knowing Jeremy is all around)
April, the nurse. Does she know anything? If she was highly trained, hadn't she sensed anything that Verity has been faking everything? (I always suspected she knew something)
The letter in the end really confused me (because in my head, I viewed Verity a real psychopath)
What did the people around them think about them hooking up after Verity's death, and why nobody questioned about Lowen being pregnant after weeks of staying at home with the Crawford's... Ehhhhh...
Anyhow, too many s*x scenes as well, pretty common in Coho's romance books but yeah, good read. Try it, a little creepy. But I felt like the last chapters were rushed.
