I enjoyed the movie. It was for me a love story between Rita and Bob Marley. I grew up with the music of Bob Marley and the Whalers, a little young to understand the socio political situation in Jamaica. Bob Marley is pure genius, it was about the message of the people. Awesome music, great talented casts. The movie was definitely a love letter and tribute to a great man. One Love!!!

Just released in Aotearoa, New Zealand. I’ve been looking forward to seeing the musical Colour Purple Movie. I watched the original movie many years ago it was great seeing cameo appearances of casts members from the past. Beautiful cinematography, scenic views that sets tones and moods it helps you to become engulfed in the moment, to transition from darkness into light. The evolution of Ceily portrayed by talented Fantasia was mesmerising, she was Miss Ceily! Taraji H Henson is a star, she brought sass, high energy, vulnerability to her character. I never knew she had a beautiful singing voice, good job. Pay her money she earned it! Love the music, my heart was uplifted and transported into light. Good job!!
