Very topical subject matter of refugees and the world wide challenges of imitation. Very impressive description of what it’s like to have your world fall into the violence of war and you have to flee from your beloved homeland. So far so good. However, the author introduces “secret doors” as a means of escape for the two protagonists-strange and it really didn’t do anything for me in this context.
