One of my favorite Pokemon games to date. The game has a lot of bugs and crashes frequently. However, as someone who has played these games since the beginning, the gameplay mechanics are everything I dreamed of as a kid. The story, characters, and Pokemon designs are done well. This experience feels familiar yet fresh. Overall, the Nintendo Switch is being pushed to its limits, so this game's performance isn't the greatest and should be expected given the original console specs. If you put that aside the experience you get from the game would be Nintendo quality. The gameplay itself is fun and can have you playing for hours on end. I would say this is the first Pokemon game to actually emulate an experience similar to Breath of the Wild. Don't sleep on this one.
