Loneliness is defeated by love. And we saw Jonny in the end finally being able to express his feelings . The ending - of them both going into the farmhouse- was lovely . The filming and countryside somehow reflected the characters. I wonder how many people there are like Jonny out there who lead lonely lives because they cannot express themselves. Gerogeou was a really well drawn character who must have loved Jonny to put up with him and must have loved him more as he at last showed his true colours. Great characterisation all round. I missed this film when it first came out and I’m glad I got to see it .
