The first train to busan was a fresh new take to the zombie genre, a genre that is saturated with mindless action flicks like the resident evil franchise. Unfortunately the same cant be said about the sequel. The sequel felt more like a zombified mad max or fast and furious movie. The premise was interesting albeit, quite ridiculous and stupid, and definitely had some potential to be a genuine horror survival movie. Alas, the film chose to go down the path of mindless,flashy violence. Sure its fun, but really isnt anything great and the novelty of its action gets tiring pretty quickly.With the overdramitc scenes, some bad acting and some bad CG,I found myself honestly cringing towards the end of the movie.

The first 30 minutes of the movie was fairly enjoyable with an awesome action sequence that got me hooked but the rest of the movie fell flat. The main issue i found with this movie is its bland storyline and main character. Captain Marvel as a character was just boring nothing to do with her portrayal but just the writing. She didnt have any charisma or charm that made her stand out. All the movie did to make her the main character was give her flashy powers which we honestly dont see much. She showed some sass in the beginning but somehow her personality gets diluted throughout the movie and it becomes an inconsistent mess. I found myself being bored whenever she becomes the main focus of a scene and was alit more impressed by characters like nick fury or the skrulls and even the cat was more charming. Overall the movie was just boring and the storyline was just a very basic amnesia story with super powers. The visuals were also inconsistent. While ill praise the work done on nick fury there were certain parts of the movie which just looked bad or unrealistic. The fight scenes were poorly shot and choreograohed. It was just flashy camera movements with lights thrown at you and of course with so many movies a nostalgic pop song to fit the theme. Overall the movie is boring with an uninteresting main character that is honestly outshined by supporting characters, with poor pacing and also rehashed ideas.
