I’ve played through two planets so far and it’s amazing! They do a fantastic job with the lore of Star Wars. For instance your droid companion BD can scan basically anything (animals, plants, enemies, buildings etc) and it adds information about that thing to your log which you can go over any time. The combat is very nice. It’s tactical and It forces you to dodge or block attacks instead of just tanking hits. The Force powers are excellent and it’s nice how you progress and unlock new abilities for your character. The customization is outstanding. There’s 5 different parts of you lightsaber you can change and you can unlock about 15 different options for each part of your lightsaber. Plus you can change your characters outfit, your droids paint job and your ships paint job. And the way you unlock light saber pieces, clothes and paint jobs is by exploring the maps and finding crates which contain this cosmetics. Overall outstanding game and this goes to show to EA that not every game needs micro transactions to be good.

I’m a teenager and a massive fan of Star Wars. The Rise of Skywalker disappointed me. Most of the characters had no story arc. For instance Rose. She was introduced in the last Jedi and in rise of Skywalker you hardly see her. The only characters I care for are chewie, liea, 3p0, R2 and kylo. The other characters I just can’t feel a connection too. Also RIP Snap Wexly. Finn, he betrays the first order in the first 10 min of force awakens and then for the rest of the trilogy he’s just fights for the resistance. You hardly remember he was first order. The only character I really care for is kylo. Adam Driver does a amazing job playing him and His story arc goes up and down, you see him struggle with the fact he killed his father and eventually fall back to the light. He dies though so.... just ugh he was the one character I cared about and he died. Any way Reys character arc was interesting. You see her struggle with her anger but it never really made me believe she might fall to the dark side. At the beginning it explains snoke and how he came to be and the explanation was adequate. Short but adequate. Also It explains reys parents, her grandfather is palpitine and her father is palps son. The thing is it doesn’t explain how he had a son. Over all the movie felt like a bit like Return of the Jedi but wearing a different skin. Towards the end palpitines fleet is destroying the resistances few ships and palp shows Rey and try’s to make her despair just like with palp and Luke in return of the Jedi. Kylo who’s on the dark side returns to the light and dies to save rey. Just like Vader who’s on the dark side returns to the light and sacrifices himself for Luke. they did have Wedge Antilles appear for a second though so yay 😀 . This movie had a lot of potential but it flopped. It seemed a bit rushed, it did have good parts but the bad outweighed the good. Wish I could say better. May the force be with you always.
