As someone who has dealt with or known people who have dealt with the serious topics in Euphoria, I can say it 100% accurately portrays what it's like for some of us growing up in the 21st century with the world facing the challenges it is. The show is so beautiful and so well done and the amount of effort put into the sets and costumes and makeup and even soundtrack are unbelievable. Some people may call the show "extreme" but I feel like most of those people aren't growing up in today's world. For the rest of us, the show hits so close to home, we might as well move in.
