It became very clear that this was not a non-biased documentary when the case against Adnan Syed was never presented. Major damning pieces of the case were completely left out! The whole thing just goes in circles as Rabia, (Adnan’s lawyer), tries to manipulate the viewers with half truths in order to derail the narrative into conspiracy theory land. She never follows any theory she presents through because her only goal is to poke holes in the evidence against her client, who also is a family friend. I’m very disappointed with HBO being associated with this “documentary”. This was a slap in the face to Hae Min Lee’s family and loved ones. The only positive thing I can say is that the beginning of the show brings Hae to life momentarily. But she’s quickly forgotten as the focus shifts to advocating for her murderer.

I was really looking forward to this movie but the lack of character development and incoherent plot made the whole thing seem like just a bunch of meaningless scenes smashed together.

We love the Harry Potter world but were so disappointed with this disaster of a movie. They really ruined the series, I don’t know if they changed the direction of storyline because of the personal lives of some of the actors or what but this movie made no sense in the context of the last two or even by itself. The story line went nowhere, was basically pointless and the acting incredibly felt awkward. It was also SO boring! How they managed to make Harry Potter’s magical world boring is beyond me but they did. The whole thing was a disappointing snooze fest that made no sense.
