I thought this movie had a ton of wasted potential. JLD was just so bad in her attempt at acting like the middle-aged white woman trying to be hip. It’s not her fault, it was just terrible writing. There was no chemistry between the leads. I don’t understand how Jonah Hill’s character, who spends all his time with black people is suddenly so awkward around black people? I guess the script calls for the white gut to look a fool because… woke. What we see on display here is the reality that while Hollywood stays woke, it will never be edgy and funny. This is what we can expect moving forward unless something changes. Thank God for books.

Hilariously calls out the Left for their hypocrisy, double standards, and constantly playing the race card.

Tedious and cartoonish. The plot is very predictable and the characters are very shallow. Plus Hollywood always has to throw in its walk elements just showed it they’re being inclusive despite the fact that the only detracts from the plot and makes the movie more preachy and less enjoyable. Why can’t Hollywood focus on just making decent movies and get away from social justice issues?
