Man I was so excited for this movie especially after the awesome ones before it. Not worth it! This movie has no connection at all to the other movies. I mean they mention ceaser a couple of times and Noah looks like ceaser. But they don’t bring any of the OG apes in at all. Some random girl needs apes help to get a communication device and once Noah and the other apes help her, she almost pulls a gun to Noah. Like what? Makes no sense at all. Seriously this movie was terrible. I mean graphics and all that was cool. But hardly any fighting, no connection to the trilogies before it. It was just a mess. Feel like they just tried to recreate a different story. I mean you can’t have planet of the apes without ceaser, or maurice. Why did they not bring Maurice and the ape family that ceaser worked so hard to save and worked so hard to get them to that new land? And why did they not have “bad ape” the ape with the best! He was the star of the show last movie. This movie didn’t make sense at all. Which is sad. I love planet of the apes but this one was terrible. Not worth it. I even bought movie theatre popcorn for this movie. Going to rewatch the precious planet of apes just to make me happy again. Bummer about this movie though seriously. As a stand alone movie it was alright, but as a series movie it was terrible.
