Those who get it probably will be impressed by the movie and those who don't will probably hate it.( "Getting it " is a function of taste , not intellect) The movie is unlike anything ever witnessed by Malayalam cinema. It's a multilayered , deeply political satire laden with witty~black humour and elements of mystical realism time travel. For me the biggest take away is its key message: The importance of a virtuous democracy. It beautifully portrays how a once just system radically tilts it's scales under the influence of a regime where 'Royal act is always legal'. The extent to which the system goes to fulfill the needs of king buldozing rights of individuals. There are many more political layers in the plot. There are some loose ends in the story, but I guess it's okay, it had a purpose to fill. Brilliant performance by all actors. Brilliant work over all. Kudos to the team.
