I personally am shocked by all the wonderful reviews. None of these add up and seem totally unreal to me, this movie was HORRID to watch. First off, the language was absurd. I don’t care for a few cuss words here and there honestly it’s not a big deal but it’s in every sentence they let out of their mouth? It’s hard to understand what they’re actually trying to say. I don’t wanna sound like a Karen complaining about it but it was seriously awful. I feel like it was a replacement since they couldn’t actually come up with better lines? Second, what is up with the plot? It’s so strange and just.. chaotic? Hard to follow through with. Now I wasn’t there for the first bit of the movie but I can totally say this had an AWFUL story line. Third, the main characters powers/abilities. So the main character gets plot armor, and that’s all? What is with that? I was so excited for this movie since I love mortal kombat, but I was just seriously disappointed. I feel bad for all the parents who brought their kids to watch. The actors are REALLY cheesy and need to go back to acting school. The only good thing in this was probably the CGI, it was great. That’s what’s stopping me from giving it a 1 star. Everyone has their own opinion and thoughts on movies. I for one, did not like it at all, but if you enjoy cheesy movies like this, it’s a good watch for you.
