I was really drawn into Olga and Pavel's world. Olga's feisty attitude was balanced by her willingness to learn and grow as she faced the many challenges of her quest. The fairytale castle, valley and lake inhabited by imprisoned swans, lonely baron, and helpful spiders was a great setting for this lively, well-paced and beautifully illustrated rite of passage story. A great read!
