I always check the books my son brings home from school, and when I tell you I was extremely disgusted and triggered by this book you have no idea. The book teaches communism and being cruel to others. Along with the fact that the turtle is the living embodiment of hitler. I just cant believe Mr. Seuss would be so insensitive as to write something so triggering, its especially hard to think about since my cousins great aunt's daughter was Jewish and knowing that I feel sick to my stomach. I personally burned this cursed book for being hard to read and overall cursed and demonic. I can't believe the school wants me to pay them back even though I saved them from having this sinner of a book in their library. I have since moved states and enrolled my son in a school without Dr. Seuss books or any books promoting/talking about communism. DON'T BUY THIS SINFUL BOOK!!!!!!
